Here's the 70's vanity with the hardware added. The hardware was a bit hard to install. It was hard to line up the drill holes with the handles and the screws were the wrong length. So, I had to buy new ones.
I am very pleased with how it came out.

Renewing an Old Vanity
In my small powder room the vanity that is original to our house built in the seventies had been painted white. The counter top was tiled in black granite with a new sink and faucet by my son. I decided to paint it a matte black to match the tile. I really like the way it came out. I plan to add new handles to match the satin nickle faucet.
Some other details:
The agave plant needs little water and light. The refillable liquid soap dispenser (from Pier One,) saves money because I can buy the liquid soap in bulk. It is placed on a small glass candle holder to catch the drips.
